This month Macie and Amelia started spring soccer. Jeff is coaching both of the girls. Amelia is doing great and Macie is enjoying the task of teaching Amelia all she knows about soccer. We had the first game on Saturday and they won. Amelia was adorable. She kicked the ball twice during the game. The smile on her face was priceless. Macie, true to self, was busy taking care of business and scored our first goal for the team. She loves to "beat the boys." Funny thing is she can out run and play the majority of them.
Sara Kathryn had her State Championship gymnastics meet. She did awesome. She is the silver medalist in vault and bronze in floor. She placed 5th overall in the Level 4 State division for her age group. She was very happy with her performance. She finished the season on a high. On the way to the meet Jeff made a bet with her that if she scored over a 36 and got all 9's in each event then he would buy her a puppy. I about fell out in the floor when he said that. Sara Kathryn rose to the challenge and scored a 36.725 overall and 9's in each of the 4 events. Not an easy task. Looks like soon we may be adding to the family. Bryant may get his "pup-pup" after all thanks to his big sister.
Bryant is busy being a two year old. Some days he is plain B-A-D and others he is as sweet as can be. He is testing the waters and seeing how far he can take his new found independence. The other day he came up to me and said "Momma I want love" and gave me a kiss and literally 3 minutes later he is fighting with Amelia and lands himself in time out. He is exhausting to say the least. On a big positive note, he is potty trained. Yeah. He has worn big boy underwear (I always slip up and call them panties) to school for two weeks now. He is the first is his class to wear Mickey Mouse big boy pants and he loves to show them off. Especially to his girlfriend Annabelle. She looks at him like he is crazy. Some things never change. Ha ha. He has also learned to climb up to the 6ft tree house in the backyard, refuses to wear shoes anymore and is constantly filthy from playing in the dirt. Boys will be boys is my explanation.
Next weekend we are recognizing Bryant's Baptism at church. It will be a special and long awaited day for our family. I will update and post some pictures of the big day. Until then have a blessed week.
