We made it to Moscow after a long and bumpy ride. We checked in to our apartment on Novy Arbat which is a busy street with lots of dining and shopping. It is where we stayed on the first trip so we are familiar with the area. The apartment is nice and clean but has some interesting things I thought I'd share. The kitchen countertops are animal print. I didn't even know these existed. For those of you who know me you know I love to decorate, read decor blogs and watch HGTV etc. These countertops are hilarious. I wonder who said to themselves "oh let's put cheetah print countertops in the kitchen. They will look great." We walked in to the bathroom only to find pink toilet paper. Yes I said pink. I love pink. It is my most favorite color and we have lots of it with three girls. But I never thought I would be using pink toilet paper. I can't use it without laughing. I have also mentioned how bad traffic is here. Well so is parking. There are no real parking spaces. People just park where they want to. They park on the sidewalks or in front of other cars. It is crazy. Here are some pics from our apartment I thought you might like to see.
In an hour we are leaving to go pick up Bryant. We are estatic and filled with joy. It is a beautiful day in Moscow. It is sunny which is very odd. It couldn't be a more perfect day to pick up Bryant. In a few hours he will be in my arms. I can't believe today is the day.
