Happy 8th birthday

You are really 8 years old! I can’t believe how fast you are growing.  My baby boy is getting so big. You are too big to rock but you sure do love to come snuggle in my bed every morning. You give the best hugs.

Bryant I love how you always live life to the fullest every day. You keep us all on our toes. Your energy and smile can make my heart melt. You have a very sweet heart and silly crazy spirit. Your laugh is contagious. You are starting to love soccer like your sister Macie. You started playing on a club team this season. Your team has only won one game but you are having lots of fun with much needed boy time. You love the lake and anything water. You are a fish! You are an amazing dancer. You never meet a stranger. You know everyone at your school and they know you. Ha ha. You love playing outside with your best buddy Winnie (the family dog aka 5th child)  You have an obsession with bubble gum and Harry Potter. Most important you are loved so much by God and your family.

The girls are busy busy with school and sports. Sara Kathryn is a varsity cheerleader and has been busy with football games and competition cheer. She is hoping to win the state championship mid November and has been working incredibly hard to make that happen. She is in high school now (be still my heart) and in an academic leadership program at school and maintaining straight A’s. Wow. SK got her braces off this summer and looks so beautiful and much older.  Macie is playing on a highly competitive soccer team for her club. In the spring her team won the state championship an age group up and played this summer at regionals. She is doing quite a bit of traveling for soccer. She loves it and has worked very very hard to make this team. Over Thanksgiving she is playing at Disney and the whole family is going to join in the fun and hopefully see Mickey Mouse. She is also working hard in school and has straight A’s in Honors. She is in chorus and has an amazing voice. Macie has grown so much she is almost as tall as me. Amelia is still loving ballet and tumbling. She has had a great two years at her new school  with the greatest teachers and friends. She is so happy and loved. She was just cast again in the Nutcracker as a Bonbon. It is not Christmas without my little Nutcracker ballerina. She also has straight A’s in her academically gifted program at school. She constantly dances and flips around the house. She loves to play school with Bryant. Of course she is the teacher and he is the student who gets in trouble for not listening. Lol.  I am so proud of all of my babies and how hard the work at school and the sports they love. They have so much dedication. I am more proud of the love they have for each other and our family. As they are growing up in the fast paced life we live I am trying to enjoy all the chaos even on the most hectic days. I love you girls so much.

We are in the crazy stage of life with lots of events, competition and traveling. I feel like a taxi cab driver and I am excel spread sheeting our calendar to keep up. It is fun and exhausting but wouldn’t change it for the world. We are very blessed.

This summer we took a family trip to Universal Studios for all the little Harry Potter fanatics. We also had a family beach trip with cousins, aunts, uncles and grandparents. We are looking forward to the holidays that bring lots of family time.

Bryant on your birthday especially I feel so thankful to God that he chose me to be your mommy. I don’t know what I would do without you. Keep your big personality and big heart I know HE has big plans for you!
