Happy 6th birthday to my sweet, loving, energetic boy. You light up my life and those around you with your smile and positivity. I can't imagine not having you in my arms. I love you Bryant!

Thank You
This morning the girls slept in and Bryant came to snuggle in bed with me. As we laid in bed he asked about being a baby in Russia. I grabbed my phone and showed him the pictures in this blog. He was laughing at himself and loved seeing his baby face. Then he got quiet. I could tell he was thinking about something. He looked at me and said "Thank you for saving me from Russia." I was stunned. I said " Baby I saved you and you saved me but it was all God's plan for us." After we hugged for a while I asked him "How much does Mommy love you?" he said "This much" stretching his arms out. I said "Yep and she loves you exactly the same as the girls" and he said with a big smile "I know that." Today I realized at 5 1/2 years old he understands some of his story and he is appreciative of his life. I wept this morning because I know God is working in him and in me. I am so thankful that Bryant realizes how much we love him but most importantly he knows God loves him. Bryant and the girls constantly sing this song from VBS and today I can hear their voices over and over singing "Shine bright, be a ray of light, shine in to somebody's life, shine God's love all over" I hope they live this verse everyday.
Here is a little life update. Bryant is doing great. He has begun reading and doing simple math. The boy is very smart and super active. He has begun eating like a champ and weighs 36lbs. He is finally in the 10th % tile for weight. Hallelujah. He has become a peanut butter and Nutella addict which has contributed to his weight gain. He is 40.2 inches tall. Still short but moving in the right direction. His endocrinologist is very happy with his growth. We just took a trip to Disney and he needed to be 40 inches to ride the Star Wars ride. He made it and was so proud. Everyday he comes home and dresses up as Superman, Buzz light year or a Star Wars character so he was enthralled with Disney.
The girls are doing great and having a fun summer. Sara Kathryn made JV cheerleading. I am incredibly proud of her. She will be "flying" and making her Momma and Daddy super nervous. She is working so hard and loves it. SK had a great 6th grade year and won the Independence award for her grade. She deserves it. Can't believe she will be in middle schooler next year. Wow. Macie finished her soccer season playing defense for her team. The won their final tournament and Macie only gave up two goals in five games of the tournament. She was awesome. She had wonderful 3rd grade year and won the Queen of Recess award. Perfect for her. Amelia has a big birthday on Sunday and will be 7 years old. The baby girl is growing up and her Mommy is struggling with even hearing that she will be 7. She will always be my baby girl. Her 1st grade year was incredible. She is one smart cookie. This summer she is continuing with tumbling and working on a standing back tuck. She can flip her little self around so fast. It is amazing at her age. She is also taking ballet in the fall and is very excited to dance.
We are having a great time with the kids at these ages. Our trip to Disney was incredible. We are looking forward to a beach trip and mission trip this summer. It is a fun time in our lives. We are so thankful.
